HEU Pushes Forward Deep Cooperation with DUT

On July 12th , academician Guo Dongming, Deputy President of Dalian University of Technology visited HEU and President Liu Zhigang and Deputy President Xia Guihua met him in the VIP room of main building. The two parties decided to deepen cooperation and expand cooperation areas and jointly promote the work of “The Deepwater Engineering and High Technology of Ship Collaborative Innovation Center” .

During the meeting, the two parties respectively introduced the basic situation of the school, the research status and related advantages in the field of ship and ocean engineering.

Both parties reached a consensus on the following: continue to innovate the system and  optimize the distribution of resources to jointly promote the work of “The Deepwater Engineering and High Technology of Ship Collaborative Innovation Center” . The two school would comprehensively strengthen cooperation in talents cultivation, scientific research and discipline construction to build a world-class ship and ocean engineering discipline and to work together to achieve the goal of strengthening comprehensive state strength by strengthen shipbuilding power and Marine power. Besides, they would comprehensively support and  lead the industry development and improve the level of scientific research and talent training quality.

Guo Dongming visited the College of Shipbuilding Engineering, College of Power and Energy Engineering, College of Underwater Acoustic Engineering, College of Nuclear Science and Technology and research center of vessel simulation.
