Deep Water Hose Drum Drive Device of HEU Passed the Acceptance Check

After nearly two years’scientific research, the Marine Intelligent Machinery Research Institute of our College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering finished the whole work about the development of the 375 tons of deep water hose drum drive and the design and test of prototype system of the 75 tons of deep water hose laying by cooperating with Ocean Petroleum EngineeringStock Co., Ltd which has passed the acceptance check of the device recently.

Based on the study of the prototype , The group members of HEU further optimized the design, completed the mechanical structure, hydraulic system and control system of manufacture, assembly and integration of the 375 tons of deep water hose drum drive engineering prototype and developed a constant tension drive control system software, achieved the system alignment and completed the function test of the land which makes the prototype realize the deep water hose laying technology.

Deep water hose drum drive system is the key technical of the deep water hose laying, which is applied in the transportation of deep sea oil and gas during the exploitation.The group also made analysis and researches on the current international situation and key technologies about deep water hose laying.The group completed the design of the 75 tons of deep water hose laying system, the animation demonstration of the hydraulic drive and control system and the hose laying process.Besides,they completed the development of the key structure of the 10 tons of principle prototype, established the experimental platform and did the principle prototype experiment.
