The 1st Conference of Innovation & Cooperation in Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering (ICNAME 2013) was held at Harbin Engineering University from May 28 to 29, 2013. Through reports, keynote speeches, bilateral, multilateral and other new forms of exchange and cooperation, the attendees discussed hot issues in the field of ship and ocean engineering, scientific and technological cooperation and academic exchanges, and the establishment of Innovation & Cooperation in Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering Association. Participants reached consensus on topics such as strengthening scientific and technological exchanges, jointly training students, and realizing resource sharing, and signed a joint agreement on the establishment of Innovation & Cooperation in Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering Association (ICNAME).
