It is a pleasure to see all the friends and many new and young friends. Our ICNAME team is constantly expanding and developing without being affected by various setbacks some years ago. What a pleasure it is.

Scientific and technological progress in the world is on the race. Some people say that there are two types of scientific fields faced by human beings, one is emerging discipline such as information technology, artificial intelligence technology and so on; the other is ancient but forever young discipline. Naval architecture and marine engineering is a discipline that is always young and constantly developing. The persons here today are specialists and scholars from five continents is a proof of this.

Now you have obtained the program of this conference. There is no reason not to believe that this conference will be a complete success. I wish you all the best at this conference.
