Two representative scientific results of the Collaborative Innovation Center of Offshore and Ship Technology nominated by the National Defense Technol

Two of scientific results, the Ship Dynamic Positioning System with the Highest level of DP3 and the National Made Ultra Short Base Line with High Accuracy, recommended by the Collaborative Innovation Center of Offshore and Ship Technology (CICOST) were confirmed to be listed into the National Defense Technology Industry 2014-year-end Inventory. The news appeared in print on January 1st, 2015, on specific page of the National Military Industry edition.


In order to review the significant achievements about national defense technology made in 2014 and cites the hardworking of related staff, the State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense (SASTIND) organized the competition of “the Top 10 News of National Defense Technology Industry in 2014”. The competition received warm responses from the related department of SASTIND, military industry corporations, China Academy of Engineering Physics, local departments charging in national defense technology industry and military industry related colleges. A total of 61 pieces of news was proposed into the Shortlist. The two works recommend by CICOST filled the domestic void, which represents the highest level of national collaborative innovation and will have a prospect. The two works have great effects on national defense technology industry and national economy. With such significances above, the two works eventually were chosen into the final list.
