To promote the development of deep-sea offshore engineering and strengthen international exchange and cooperation, the "Launch Ceremony of Water Tank for Deep-sea and Far-sea Equipment Testing in Qingdao" and the "4th International Deepwater Offshore Specialty Symposium (DOSS2024)" will be held at the Qingdao Innovation Base for Marine Unmanned Equipment. The symposium aims to bring together experts, scholars, and industry representatives in the field of marine engineering to discuss cutting-edge research, trends, and challenges in areas such as digital twin technology for marine and offshore engineering, deep-sea floating wind power, deep-sea mining, and offshore oil and gas resource development. It will also provide intellectual support for the sustainable development of the deep-sea wind power industry. Relevant details are as follows:

(a) Launch Ceremony of Water Tank for Deep-sea and Far-sea Equipment Testing and Unveiling Ceremony of the "Qingdao Research Center for Deep-Sea and Far-sea Equipment Testing."

(b) Demonstration Experiments in the Water Tank, including:

Novel floating wind turbines,

Deep-sea mining technologies,

Polar underwater intelligent robots.

(c) Observation of the Digital Twin System of the "DOLPHIN-1" Intelligent Ship.

(d) 4th International Deepwater Offshore Specialty Symposium.

为了推动深海离岸工程的发展，促进国际间的交流与合作，在青岛海洋无人装备创新基地召开“青岛深远海装备水池启动仪式” 暨“第四届国际深海离岸工程专题研讨会（4th International Deepwater Offshore Specialty Symposium DOSS2024）”。此次研讨会旨在汇聚行业海洋工程专家、学者以及企业代表，围绕深海离岸工程，共同探讨船舶与海洋工程数字孪生技术、深远海浮式风电、深海采矿、海上油气资源开发等的最新研究成果、发展趋势以及面临的挑战，为深远海风电产业的可持续发展提供智力支持。有关事项通知如下：
