The 2nd Conference of Innovation & Cooperation in Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering (ICNAME 2015) was held at Harbin Engineering University from June 29 to 30, 2015. The first international organization for innovation and cooperation in naval architecture and marine engineering was established. At the two-day conference, delegates from various countries carried out in-depth exchanges on four international research hotspots: numerical tank, marine renewable energy, deep-sea engineering, and polar ships/offshore platforms. During the conference, a total of 4 keynote speeches, 30 breakout sessions, 4 thematic multilateral exchange talks and nearly 30 bilateral talks were held.
