2014 International Conference on Maritime Technology (ICMT 2014) was held at the University of Strathclyde, UK from July 7th to 9th, 2014. The conference was jointly initiated and co-hosted by Harbin Engineering University and the University of Strathclyde. More than 100 experts, scholars and students from 15 countries and regions, including China, the United Kingdom and Germany, in the fields of naval architecture and ocean engineering and marine engineering, exchanged views and discussed hot issues in the research fields of high-tech ships, offshore engineering, ocean engineering mechanics, and marine renewable energy.
