CCS and CSDC sign a strategic cooperation agreement

Recently, China Classification Society (CCS) and China Ship Design & Research Center (CSDC) signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Beijing. The signing of this agreement marked the establishment of a long-term, multi-lateral, strategic cooperative relationship between the two sides.  
 

Based on the mutual recognition of the trends of domestic and international shipbuilding industry, CCS and CSDC will build a close relationship in the fields of ship development and design, scientific research, shipping design service, technical exchange, information sharing, talent cultivation and corporate culture creation. The two sides will collaborate on pushing forward China’s shipbuilding development and design.

CSDC belongs to China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation. It is a ship design and research company of international influence. The products of CSDC cover a wide range, including bulk carrier, ore carrier, oil tanker, chemical tanker, container ship, multipurpose vessel, passenger ship, passenger rolling / ro-ro ship，transportation ship, rescue ship, jack-up drilling and workover semi-submersible drilling platform, FPSO, AHTS vessels and marine engineering ship etc. In many years’ cooperation, CCS and CSDC have made remarkable contributions to the development of China’s shipping and shipbuilding industry. They played a dominant role in elevating the international level of China’s shipbuilding industry in the international maritime community.

CHEN Shi, deputy chief engineering of CCS and YU Dexin, deputy general manager of CSCD signed on the strategic cooperation agreement. SUN Feng, vice president of CCS , ZHAO Zhanjun, general manager of CSDC and other representatives of both sides attended the signing ceremony.
