2023 International Academic Conference on “High Efficiency, Low Carbon, Clean Combustion” of Internal Combustion Engine Held in Harbin

On August 4, the International Academic Conference on “High Efficiency, Low Carbon, Clean Combustion” of the 2023 brand activity series of the Chinese Society for Internal Combustion Engines was held in Harbin. Yu Yao, president and deputy secretary of the party committee of the university, attended the opening ceremony of the academic annual meeting and delivered a speech.

Donghan Jin, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, president of the Chinese Society for Internal Combustion Engines and president of Tianjin University, Wanhua Su, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and professor of Tianjin University, Zhen Huang, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and professor of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Hua Zhao, foreign academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, academician of the Royal Academy of Engineering and vice president of Brunel University in London, attended the opening ceremony of the academic annual meeting.

This academic annual meeting introduced the “Leading Series” academic reports of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, with Wanhua Su, Zhen Huang, and Hua Zhao giving keynote speeches. Professor Long Liu and nine other experts and scholars from the industry and related colleges and universities made wonderful academic reports. More than 260 experts, scholars, engineers, and students from the national internal combustion engine industry attended the conference.

On August 5, the academic annual meeting set up four sub-venues, namely, combustion energy saving and purification, plateau internal combustion engine, testing technology, and gasoline engine, with 16 invited lectures and 89 exchanged papers. More in-depth academic exchanges were carried out around the efficient, low-carbon, and clean combustion of internal combustion engines. The paper published by Weiyang Shao of our university won the excellent paper at the conference. The academic atmosphere of the conference was strong, and the representatives fully exchanged views, shared experience, promoted cooperation, and contributed wisdom to promote the innovation and development of China’s advanced internal combustion power technology.
