Dear participating students and instructors,

With the active cooperation of all participating teams and supervising instructors, and through the joint efforts of the competition’s expert review panel, the preliminary round of the Floating Body Station-Keeping Hydrodynamic Analysis event in the 2025 National Ship CAE Industrial Software “Langhua Platform” Application Competition has been successfully concluded. With the approval of the Organizing Committee, the arrangements for the final round of this event are hereby announced as follows:

Ⅰ. List of Finalists:

At present, the expert review panel has completed the preliminary review and scoring of all reports submitted in accordance with the competition requirements, based on the completeness and accuracy of the test cases, as well as the completeness and standardization of the reports. The list of teams advancing to the final round is hereby published as follows:

List of Finalists for the Floating Body Station-Keeping Hydrodynamic Analysis Event (in registration order)

The Floating Body Station-Keeping Hydrodynamic Analysis Event is set with First Prize (10%), Second Prize (20%), and Third Prize (30%). A total of 24 teams have advanced to the final round, Following a 1:2 shortlisting ratio, the First Prize winners will be selected accordingly, and 12 teams will ultimately receive the First Prize. The results of teams that did not advance to the final round will be released together after the final defense session.

Ⅱ. Final Round Arrangements: 

1.Time：The final round is scheduled for December 26, 2025, starting at 14:30.

2.Format：The competition will be held online via Tencent Meeting (Meeting ID: 830-871-939). When joining the meeting, each participating team is requested to rename their display name in the following format (as shown in the finalist list): No. + Team Leader. Finalists are kindly requested to follow updates in the QQ group, where relevant information will be announced sequentially.

3.Rules：The defense consists of a 3-minute presentation (strictly timed; overtime is not permitted) plus a 2-minute Q&A session. The PPT should focus on the research process and key analytical conclusions, as well as the optimization method(s) and optimization outcomes, etc. The final defense score accounts for 30% of the overall score, and the preliminary round score accounts for 70%. Awards will be determined based on the ranking of the weighted final scores. Teams that do not participate in the defense will be deemed to have forfeited eligibility for the First Prize, and the quota will be filled by the next teams in the ranking.
